Ahuachapan Part Dos

V It's hard to believe it's already Wednesday, the days are passing so quickly and God is moving so freely among the team and all the people we have come in contact with.  Today was our second day working on the house for the family at Ahuachapan.  We have nearly completed preparing the floors so that they are ready to be poured in concrete.  The concrete blocks which make up the interior and exterior walls are approximately 90 percent complete, so the house will soon be ready for the roof.  My heart has been so blessed to see how hard everyone has worked to build this home.  We met the family today that we are preparing this home for and they are wonderful people who are so humble and grateful, which is awesome, but I know every member of the team knows it is us who have been blessed beyond measure just to be included in Gods plan to build a home for this family.  Everyone on the team (I say team but I am proud to call everyone friends!) was so inspired by Krisia, the 13 year old who's family we are building the home for.  Krisia, is confined to a wheel chair and appears really small for her age, but is one of the happiest most joyful people you could ever meet!  Her smile is as bright as the sun and extremely contagious! We will be building a wheel chair ramp to make it easier for her to get in and out of the house.  It is our prayer that this home will be a blessing for her and her family for many years to come.  It has been a wonderful day and we pray that Jesus has been glorified in all that we have been involved in today.  The verse that the day brings to mind is 1 Peter 4:11"....If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ to whom belong the glory and the dominion for ever and ever. Amen."
